Milford M. "Skip" Nolan - Registrar Skip Nolan is a retired Consumer Research Analyst for the U. S. Postal Service where he worked for 30 years. He was born during World War Two while his father was serving on a Navy air crew flying out of England. His father was killed eight months later in a B24 crash in North Africa. Skip is active in his church and community service. He and his wife, Diane, were Wildlife Rehabilitators for over 30 years, specializing in birds. He was active in the Civil Air Patrol, a civilian auxiliary of the U. S. Air Force, for eight years, serving as Squadron Commander In Fredericksburg for most of that time. He currently serves the community as a member of several historical and benevolent organizations in the Fredericksburg area. His interests include the perpetuation of the values upon the Nation was founded, and the rich eighteenth century history of the Northern Neck and Rappahannock Region which contributed greatly to that cause. He is a living history interpreter and with his wife present George and Catherine Weedon and their contributions to American Freedom. His primary Revolutionary War ancestor is Lieutenant William Livingston of the Georgia Continental Line. Other patriots from whom he is descended is Elisha Parsons, from Massachusetts, who served at the Battle of Saratoga, and James Hulbert of Northhampton MA who served in civilian service for that town. Skip also serves as the Chapter Registrar. | ||
